Pre sand all of the parts With 100 to 120 grit sand paper sand all exposed surfaces smooth.
If you are hand sanding, this should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
If
you have a power sander, this should take 3 to 5 minutes.
Please do not apply glue to any surface until the entire clock is dry assembled
Side Assembly
Now take on upper rail, one lower rail and five vertical spindles and dry fit the pieces together. Sand the tenons so they will slip into the mortise slot.
