Folding Bench Assembly Instructions

Disassemble the bench and sand to suit.

Reassemble the bench this time using glue on all of the joints.

Be sure to wipe away any squeeze out with a wet rag.

After you have screwed the screws in place, apply glue to the dowel plugs and insert into the counter sunk screw holes.

Let the glue dry before sanding the plugs flush.

With the bench assembled, take time to sand with 180 grid sand paper, lightly make a sanding pass on all edges.

Be sure to sand all joints to make sure the transitions are smooth to the touch.

Apply the finish of you choice.

Be sure to apply the finish to all sides of the bench, front, sides and back and edges.

Reassemble the bench, this time using the brass screws in the hinges.
