The pedestal is mounted at a 45 degree angle to the edge of the table top
Be sure to have the plug holes facing outward.

Take a pencil and mark the holes where the holes need to be for the screws. Put a piece of tape ½ inch from the end of the 1/8 drill bit and drill the holes. Be careful not to drill all the way thru the wood.
