1. With 100 to 120 grit sand paper sand all exposed surfaces smooth.
2. Find the tops of the shelf supports.
3. The 16 Side Shelf supports do have a top and bottom.
The screw hold is slightly off center.
Line them up on a straight edge and you can along the holes accordingly.
