Now take on upper rail, one lower rail and two vertical slats and dry fit the pieces together. Sand the tenons so they will slip into the mortise slot.
Disassemble the side assembly and apply glue to the mortise and tenon joint and place into a clamp.
Be sure to use the leg to align the rails.
Repeat the above process two more times with the other parts.
If any
glue squeezed out, be sure to wipe all of the glue off with a damp cloth.
